FAQ
How long until I receive my images?
You can expect your engagement sessions 2-3 weeks after your session. Weddings take anywhere from 6-8 weeks.
Do we have the rights to the images?
Yes, all clients receive full rights to their images. but you may not edit images at any point.
Can we print them ourselves?
Yes, you can. However I recommend using the professional lab that is set up through your online gallery. The image quality and color is much higher than those from big box stores.
Do you offer Albums?
Yes, I do. Custom Albums are available to any client and can be purchased anytime after your wedding. You will receive a proof of your album before it goes to print to ensure perfection. You may select the images or have me do it for you.
Do you travel?
Yes! I love to travel. I’m available to fly anywhere in or out of the country. All travel expenses are billed separately from your wedding collection.
When and how do I book you?
Once you know you officially want to book, simply fill out the contract and submit your retainer to secure your date. Your date will remain open to any new inquires until your non-refundable deposit is paid.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, the initial 25% is due at the signing of your contract. Then 25% at the half way point, and 50% one week prior to the wedding date. All payments must be made in full before the wedding date.
What form of payment do you accept?
Cash, check or cards! Card payments are paid via the app ‘venmo’
What is your style?
Romantic, rich, moody, playful! I give direction the entire time to help guide you through the poses so they feel natural and not forced!
Should I get my hair and make up done?
This is not a requirement by any means, but I do encourage brides to get their hair and make up done for both the engagement session and their wedding. These photos are a once- in- a- lifetime and you want to look your best! Just ensure you allow plenty of time the day of to get these two things done.
Why should I consider doing a first-look?
I really encourage all my couples to do a first- look the day of their wedding. Why? Because not only does this allow to you have an intimate moment together to really express your excitement to see each other for the first time, but it allows the two of you to have more one on one time with me. When couples do a first look I generally schedule an hour into the time-line to do portraits together. Couples that opt out of doing a first- look will still receive a portrait session, but it is greatly reduced to a maximum of 30 minutes due to family formals and bridal party photos. If you choose not to do a first- look I require a minimum of an hour after your ceremony for photos. Couples that do a first- look can simply schedule 15-20 minutes of photos after their ceremony and head off to their reception and party!

Meet Vicky!
Meet my associate photographer, Vicky! She has been doing photography for almost a decade, and she has been my go-to “second” photographer for years! Believe me when I say I’m picky when it comes to having my name attached to another photographer, but Vicky is truly amazing and our styles are almost the exact same. I rolled out my associate program to better to serve my couples that couldn’t book me due to scheduling or budget constraints. Well, that’s where Vicky comes in! She will be your “day of” photographer for the wedding, but the two of us will help coordinate leading up to your wedding day, so every last detail is sure to be taken care of. All images will still be edited by me, Ashlee Crowden, so you will be getting the exact same style and color

If you love traveling and are dreaming of an epic elopement or an elevated portrait session, come meet us on one of our trips! As part of this package, you’ll receive the services of two experienced wedding professionals who have seen it all! Ashlee Crowden Photography and A Bride’s Best Mate have teamed up to provide expert planning for your elopement or photoshoot. This includes up to three hours of photography, an online gallery (a minimum of 250 images) that’s live for ten years in Ashlee’s signature moody, romantic and a hint of edgy style. You’ll also receive a curated timeline, styling assistance, a bouquet, and access to our personal travel agent to plan your trip in detail (yes, this is ALL included!). And as a bonus, not only will you have unique photos, you get to hang out with us!
